We partnered with some of the best wedding professionals in northeast Ohio at two historic landmarks in Canton. The opulent Onesto Event Center, a historic hotel in the heart of downtown and the McKinley Monument whose marble staircase made an elegant backdrop for our brides! Balsam & Blush Photography captured the beautiful collaboration.
Natural Vibes: the Faridah gown
It’s such a pleasure to style our brides based on their wedding venue and the Onesto Hotel was no exception! The historic building was completed in 1930’s and reopened in 2014. It features grand staircases, crystal chandeliers, and vaulted ceilings with intricate relief woodwork making it the perfect setting for our gorgeous wedding dresses.
Layers of tulle paired with embellished beadwork, open backs edged with delicate lace, and handmade gemstone accessories from our curated collection were at home against the luxe architecture of the hotel.
Lambb was stunning in the Faridah from Belgium based designer Marylise. Faridah is an effortless, easy to wear dress with a natural vibe and geometric details. Faridah pairs an open back with illusion front in tulle, cut outs, and see through laces all of which look gorgeous flowing in the wind.
The Faridah dress is super lightweight (hello destination wedding!) and could be worn in an outdoor ceremony in the fields or on the beach. Plus, we love a dress with long sleeves! Especially lace sleeves that play with transparency in such an intricate and artful way.
Modern & Sexy: the Bridget gown with Diamond train
For the bride who wants two looks on her wedding day we paired our Bridget gown with Diamond train. Both the Bridget gown and the Diamond train are from Australian designer Karen Willis Holmes’ atelier. Bridget is part of Holmes’ Wild Hearts Collection – a collection of wedding dresses that are romantic and effortless with a hint of boho. The gowns are handmade to order using superior quality lace or crepe, each has stretch which makes these the perfect dresses if you’re planning on dancing the night away on your wedding day!
Bridget is all about accentuating your shape. It’s sexy, elegant, modern, and super comfortable! The gown features a high neckline with a racer-back and sexy statement cut-outs at the waist. The fitted skirt is paneled with flattering seamlines and flares out to a dramatic train.
We added the Diamond train for an added touch of drama and luxe. The Diamond train is a detachable skirt that features varying sizes of diamond-shaped organza layers finished with a luxe edging. These pieces trail and float behind you as you walk and dance creating movement in your photos and a playful, modern look. Adding a detachable train lets you play with your wedding look. Wear it for your ceremony and photos or rock it all night long at your reception.
Fairytale Elegance: the Libbie Gown
Lauren is wearing the Libbie gown which was designed and made in an Ohio atelier. The Libbie gown is part of Cincinnati-based designer Renee Grace Bridal’s 2020 collection. The gown is all about modern fairytale elegance with a sweetheart neckline and a full layered tulle skirt that makes for a gorgeous twirl! Metallic embroidered lace adds a luxe, soft ethereal look.
Effortless & Modern: the Elodie Gown
Elodie, from Karen Willis Holmes’ Wild Hearts Collection, is the embodiment of a modern, effortlessly gorgeous bridal look. From statement lattice print lace to a flattering sweetheart neckline with spaghetti straps, to a fitted skirt featuring a center front split with tulle insert that creates a gorgeous silhouette when you walk! We styled it with a handmade (in Brooklyn), moonstone and gold beaded bridal belt.
Our wedding gowns are thoughtfully selected from a handful of national and international independent designers whose ateliers create each dress to order making them completely customizable. From there we style the total look, from veil to train, hairpieces to earring! Our mission is making you look and feel amazing on your day.
